Tired skin: The products for you

Make up, skincare, tired,

Now that October has hit the weather is getting colder and the nights seem to be drawing in. It’s time to break out the Pumpkin Spiced Latte’s and to start taking care of your skin ahead of these next few months. Making sure your skin is refreshed and hydrated is an essential and I’m here to show you the products to get your tired skin back to that alert ready to go look.

First up moisturisers are a good thing to get your skin into gear. I have combination skin so each moisturiser is a little different. I’ve been loving the Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser this is perfect for all skin types. This lightweight oil free cream works great to hydrate and instantly wake up the skin. I normally use this at night and then as a little base in the morning before applying my oils.

Or you can always use the Garnier SkinActive Naturals Rose Moisturiser. This is a really gentle moisturiser that hydrates the skin leaving it soft and brings a little bit of life to the face. This is quite a thick moisturiser so I recommend applying this at night as it’s still there leaving your skin soft in the morning.

The next thing you need is a good face oil, they transform the skin from drowsy to refreshed in a couple of applications. Every morning I use the Eden’s Semilla Peppermint Essential Oil this is such an easy to use oil that wakes the skin up and is also good incase you have any pesky spots coming up at the same time too.

Alternatively if you want something with an overnight effect especially if you’ve not been sleeping great recently. The Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate it works like a dream. It’s one of the fastest working oils and that hint of lavender is great for getting your skin back to that energised feeling.

Lastly face masks are a real good thing to wake up the skin. Normally you should use a face mask once a week so let’s check out the main ones you need. The Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask is a great way to add a bit of hydration to the skin. One mask claims to last up to 7 days of moisture and after one use you can see the results instantly. It’s an easy way to relax unwind and care for your skin.

You should also check out the GlamGlow GravityMud Firming Treatment it’s an easy peel off mask that helps to firm the skin and pull it back up to standard. Although you may look like a tin man with it this mask is a great way to look after the skin.

These are the main skincare essentials that you need to have in your skincare routine to energise your skin and get it into tip-top condition for these cold months upcoming.
